Danger Bird Records
In order to balance out all the Spanish music, I am going to look at Danger Bird Records at the same time. Just for those who don’t speak Spanish.
“Loca” -Shakira
I hear this all the time here in Spain, and it’s definitely better in Spanish.
“Inmortal” -La Oreja de Van Gogh
“Feliz” -Kany García
Sony Latin
Sorry I have not posted in a while. It has been problematic not having internet neither at home nor at school.
I’m next going to go to a bigger and more commercial label and look at artists from Sony’s Latin Label.
Sire Records
Sire Records, in my opinion, is a double headed creature that enjoys slighty off beat music. I say double headed, because it seems to have two very opposing music styles. One is softer, Regina Spektor, and the other is more rock, My Chemical Romance. However, the label is ubiquitous in that it generally has artists that are very main stream, but also are a bit funky and different. This label is for those who love main stream music, but also want something with some more meat to it and something a little off the beaten track.
“I’m Not OK (I Promise)” -My Chemical Romance
